This version of the Magic The Gathering has 5 decks of library.  Each deck has its own balanced powers and strategies.

Before our very first game, we have spent time searching for the tutorials on the web and managed to learn the basics of the game.  I have included the Youtube tutorials which I found very useful for learning the game.  So, both me and Jay watched the Youtube and learned how to play.

Basic rules is simple.  Each player has 20 life.  If you run out of life, you lost!

Each player has a deck of 60 cards called Library.

Every turn, you get to 1) untap the cards, 2) draw a card, 3) play a Mana if have, 4) play a creature card, spell card, artifacts, etc 5) battle, 6) play mana or creatures again, and end the turn.

Depends on how you build up your Mana.  You can bring in creatures to do the attacking.  When entering the battlefield some creatures has “summoning sickness” and could not attack immediately.

The game have a lot of twist.  Some creature can skip the summoning sickness and attack right away.  There will be flying creature which you cant block if you do not fly or reach.

To learn how to play, there is this website to teach you…

But the game play is full of gun powder.  Because to play the games, sometimes you need to enter a partnership so to play it in such a way of 2 against 1.

But what will you do after one player has lost?  So, lots of strategies.

Wow.. my strongest card.  10/10.  Eventually, killed by Kay Kay’s death touch.

And of course, we all know that Magic The Gathering is a deck building cards.  Means, you can expand your cards by buying more cards of variety strength and build the 60 cards deck.  Every card has strength and its weakness.  That is why to play well, you need to learn what card is important and what card is good.
