Chinese reading can be fun.

Buy an extra text book, and blanco out all the Han Yu Pin Yin.

Those that not so familiar words, then, can circle it and

Then, write in on some flash cards, so that he can bring this along and try remember these words.

Don’t forget to record a reading of passage for him, and he can listen to the reading every day 1-time.

By asking him to read the passage WITHOUT the Han Yu Pin Yin, then you can be really sure whether he knows how to read it, which words he is having problem, etc etc.

Good luck to both of them for next week CA1 test.
