Last year is the first time I cooked this dish. Ivy, Hilary and Emerald likes it so much, and have requested me to cook this dish.
So, I went to Sheng Siong Super Market to get the pig stomach and beef stomach.

Of course you need to wash them clean.
Using vinegar, salt, Hua Tiao cooking wine, flour and ginger slices and then you rub rub rub it and after that, wash it. Repeat this few times. Until you are satisfy with the smell (means no smell at all).

The Hua Tiao cooking wine also can de-smell it.

Do the same thing to pig stomach too.

Aiya, I made a mistake!!! I put in some water into the pig stomach vacuum pack and try to vacuum the air out. Unfortunately, the vacuum pump sucks a lot of water out from the vaccum pack and the vaccum machine was wet and stucked. I think have to wait until it dry out then can reuse again.

So, don’t worry, let’s use the old method. Ikea zip lock bag. soak the bag with the Pig stomach inside the water, so that there are less air inside the zip lock back. So, we did a almost vacuum zip lock bag method.

Same thing to the beef stomach.

Before that, let’s check with ChatGPT.
85 degree for beef stomach for 12 hours.
75 degree for pig stomach for 10 hours.

A few hours later, i think the zip lock bag is not secure enough, water leaked into the bag. It’s ok la. Let’s see what happen tomorrow morning.

Not too bad. Both stomach looks intact. I tasted both, and it is quite nice to eat and chew. Later cook it inside the soup for 2-3 hours will make it better.


Let’s put in the Beef Tendon too.

Some Garlic. (one handful)

I used this brand. I put in 3 packets. When stirring the soup, must be careful, because the pack is quite fragile and easy to break.

Put in Fu-Zuk, Wai-Shan herbs, barley, red dates, ginger, white peppers.

Cook it for 2-3 hours.
