Just about you thought how Niantic going to survive facing so many users stopped playing the game, Pokemon Go! surprises us with releasing Ditto.

For those who is familiar with Nintendo games, i.e. Pokemon Fire Red or others, Ditto can transform into any of the Pokemon you use.  If you use your strongest Pokemon to fight, Ditto will transform into exactly that, copy all the CP you have.  But it is easy to defeat it.  Simply knock him off using sleep ability, and then kill it off while he is sleeping.  Hahahaha

But in real life (i.e. Pokemon Go!), it is not so easy to catch.  Because, Ditto will transform into any Pokemon.  So, far, I have heard Ratata, Zubat and Pidgey.

So, what do you do?

So, you have to catch almost every single Pokemon, just to confirm.

Especially Ratata, Zubat and Pidget.  Don’t miss out those common Pokemon.

Some of these common one is very hard to catch.  And run away, then, you can suspect they are Ditto.

I used Pokeball, couldn’t catch it, then, I use Great Ball, couldn’t do it either.  Then, I knew, it is time to use Ultra ball to catch this CP260 Ratata.

The moment, you catch it, it says… “Oh” (like hatching eggs like that)

Then, a bright light appear…

Say hello to my Ditto.

Gives only 3 Ditto candies.

Registering to Pokedex just sitting between Lapras & Eevee.

Low CP… CP260.  With Transform and Struggle skills.

OK.  Left with 3 Pokemons to catch.  Those legendary one.

 

So, Niantic did a great job.  But they make it quite easy to catch.

They should make it into an event.  Where, announce to the world, where Ditto will appear, may be Garden by the Bay, to have it bigger place and make people walk and walk and catch.

If you miss it, then, go to the next event.  Like that may be can prolong their gamers base much longer?  hahaha
