Kids having social gathering is important to build up kids’ social skills. Why not adding the “cooking” part in it. 🙂 HaHaHaHa…
We had a pretty awesome playdates last week where parents don’t need to do much work. Well, we asked the kids to cook for themselves.
Jay & Colette will be doing Cod Fish Fingers.
Again, the recipe is from this amazing book borrowed from the Library. Jay followed exactly the recipe and cook this dish. This is where you teach the kids how to be independent. This is also where you teach the kids to cook for themselves things they wanted to eat.
Not too bad at all. Of course, instead of oil fry it, we air fry it. More healthy and lesser oil.
Not too bad at all!
And Jay Jay making the lasagna tonight too.
And his lasagna came out to be quite fine.
I love his lasagna. I always thought lasagna is very hard to make. Even I myself never attempted to make a lasagna before. Although it is only 2 layers lasagna, but all the kids loves it.
The lasagna baked by Jay Jay.
We have the bread making machine. So, from the bread machine, you can make the dough.
Each kids now has their chance to make and design their own pizza.
It is a messy few steps making pizza, but the kids seems to love the fun!
And they are making their own food. It is of course important to inspire the interest in kids for cooking.
Come on Kay, quick!
All the fresh ingredients are prepared.
Of course, our Aquaponics garden has a lot of veggies for you to choose too.
And this is the special pizza sauce cook from tomatoes and it is prepared by Kay Kay.
Spread the pizza sauce.
And place lots of ingredients and cheese on to it. And you are done!
I want to put more cheese too.
This is where the social part comes in. Lots of chatting, lots of fun and lots of laughters.
Colette is starting to decorate her pizza.
You put whatever you want to eat.
And there you go.
Kay Kay one also almost done.
Every pizza is different.
No need to ask, you know who this pizza belongs to. So many ingredients.
Pizza is on the way.
And they love to go and check the pizza from time to time.
While waiting for pizza, let’s eat the delicious lasagna.
Jay making lovely hot chocolate for our guests.

Unfortunately, Kay’s pizza drop on to the floor. Mommy’s fault. So, he cries, then he become OK. HaHaHa…
That concludes our Pizza night. Hahahaha
