We are now into the 8th day of Pokemon Go! in Singapore.
As reported by my friend, loads of people are still gathering at midnight at certain places such as Changi Village, Punggol park, etc.

And I am still asking my kids to play for me. i.e. Catch the Pokemon, transfer to Professor Oak, evolve the Pokemon, etc etc.

And we believe we have found a new way to play the Pokemon.
And today, I think there are a bit of haze too.
Download and install this app, i.e. “Go Radar – Live Map for Pokemon Go”.
This is an app to show you where are all the Pokemon, and how long will they stay there before disappearing. It is a very interesting program. And it is the most useful one too.

Then, make sure that you play with another person.
One of you will be the driver, looking at the Go Radar GPS map.
And the other or others will be holding on to their iPhone/smart phone with Pokemon Go.

When there are Pokemon around, it will pop out on the map.

There, it show you where Magmar (Pokemon) is located. This is just at the Hoi Fatt road behind Leng Kee road. So, the driver will focus in reaching there. If you are lucky, there is a car park there. And as soon as you park your car, you will see Magmar on your Pokemon screen.

Cool, right?

Now, here come the next coolest thing. Click on “Favourite Pokemon” and it allows you to filter.

So, you filter out those common one, or those you already have. And only focus in searching those you do not have. If it is not far away, then, the chances of getting it is pretty high.

You will have a less clutter screen.

When we arrived at Chinese Garden, people already started to park their car some 500-800 meter away from the gate.
So, what I did is to slowly drive to the destination where the Scyther appears (the bottom one which is near to the Chinese Garden gate.) And almost instantly, it appears in your Pokemon Go program, and you can ask your child to start catching it.

We caught this around Chua Chu Kang area before we enter the KPE. I make a quick left turn going into the exit, and drive slowly behind 3x buses, and my son Jay busy catching it.

We caught Scyther just in front of the Chinese garden gate.

Magmar appears within Singapore Poly. And we have to park our car and walk up the stairs to catch it at the centre of the building. Cool!
Some others are…

And this…

And that… Not a bad catch…

My kids was having so much fun.

Remember…
- Strongly suggest do not install this on your kid’s phone. Most likely they could not control themselves.
- You must not hold the phone while driving. So, it is at least a two players game. So, you need a co-pilot to help you play the Pokemon Go!
- Take the opportunity to teach them what is “addiction” and how to control it.
- Have fun, relax, it is weekend!
