It is always a headache to me.
When my Malaysia’s Malay friends come over to Singapore, I have to bring them to eat good food. Nice food. And most importantly, halal food. I always bring them to Straits Kitchen or the hotel opposite. Or Manantan Fish, and so on.
I still can vaguely remember few years ago, a restaurant manager called me up and tell me the 10 tables pre-ordered the Spicy Chilli Crab (Singapore famous dish) but she informed me their Chilli Crab sauce contain pork lard. Hahaha, at the end, we have to ask the restaurant to cook the Chilli Crab using tomato and chilli sauce instead of the factory pre-made sauce. That was history. hahahaha
Today, I brought my friend to Pagi Sore.
A muslim food cooked by Chinese.

It is located at Far East Square one of the shop house facing the MRT station.
You can have Ala Carte Buffet or Ala Carte.

Let’s see some of the dishes we ordered.
Yummy curry chicken.

Yummy sweet grill chicken.

Yummy rendang.

Wow crispy thingy prawns. Nice…

Petai Chilli prawns.

Kang Kong.

Long beans.

Taufu Telor

Oh my god… so much food!

The rice .. fragrant…

So, my Malaysia Malay friend says yummy. And my other Malaysia Melaka (may be half nyonya) also said yummy.

If you don’t know where else to bring your Malay friends next time… try this Pagi Sore restaurant ya.
