The other day, I posted this on Facebook. I have properly stored and place my home routers, ViewQwest fibre box, and my two Synology boxes in a equipment rack.
Instead of having those equipment placing here and there unorganised.
So, this machine rack sitting perfectly on a aluminium rack.
Nice and clean and well organised.
I bought it from Taobao. And my wife was buying some stuff from Taobao and ship with container, so I “lompang” this in the shipment. The container shipment is roughly $100-$140 for a 1 meter square container/crate space. Of course, you have to order a lot more things. (Buying from Taobao is quite easy nowadays. If possible, please try to set up this yourself ya. We are not in this kind of buying Taobao business. Because nowadays, my wife does the ordering for her Aquaponics company most of the time, so, not nice to lompang for “personal things” unless she is ordering for personal things too. hahaha you know, sometimes she does grumbles… hahaha)
So, the rack is CNY 238. So, it is about SGD$50 (without shipment).
Seriously speaking, it is made from China, but the quality is not so solid. But it is a real machine rack.
And it is not heavy either. I think less than 5KG.
And it comes with a fan on top.
But my friend commented the dust will come in from the fan too. Which make sense.
But after I set up this, I am very sure that the amount of dust will be reduced significantly.
Of course, you can search on Taobao for others. That is your choice.
Remember, I only trying to share what I have ordered. We are not in Taobao agent, buy things for other people business. If you want it, please try to setup a Taobao account, and DIY. As for shipping, there are plenty available. A simple google will tell you a lot of info. I do see a lot of my friends started to buy things directly from Taobao. And yes, you have to know Chinese before you can do all these, as all the sellers, web side data are in Chinese. If you cannot read Chinese, then, bo-pian, buy from Amazon lor.
