There is this little French restaurant called “O’Boeuf” downstairs on the 2nd floor of our club house here at Park West Condo (8, Jalan Lempeng). And yes, it is open for public, you can come anytime to enjoy the food here.  After you enjoyed the food, don’t forget to visit the Indian groceries stores and they sell all kind of Indian beers, such as Kingfisher’s etc etc.

They serve nice beef, and french food.

Emma is one of the owner’s wife.  And she is the chef for the Thai Thai dish.

And she decided to cook some of her home town cooking in this french restaurant.

So, this is her “Thai Thai Cuisine Menu”.

Also comes with Thai Thai beverages.

Let’s try it today.

Today I told my wife, we cannot eat Chicken Rice (my son cooking) every day, let’s eat downstairs.

We ordered two of these Tom Yam Kung.

And it is very tasty.  The prawns are fresh, and they put in the Italian small tomatoes.  Very nice.  It makes the Tom Yam Kung soup taste very nice indeed.

One suggestion:  Most Chinese likes their soup to be served hot, may be placing the clay pot on a fire might help make this dish even better.

It is very tasty.

Next is the Som Tam Mamuang Kung Yang.  Green mango salad.  The green mango is nice.

But wait… look at the giant king prawns.  It was grilled until is is “nearly” cook, and it taste excellent.

The king prawns is nicely grilled.  And I finished every thing, even the head / brain parts of the prawns.

This is Nam Tok Kor Moo Yang.  It is actually grilled Iberico Pork.  Usually when you think about Kor Moo Yang, you think about those fatty pork neck meat.  But this is Iberico Pork.  So, it taste different.

For this I ate yesterday, there are half of the Iberico meat which is fatty like this, and it is yummy.  With a blink of eyes, my son Jay Jay ate a few pieces without me knowing.  By the time I look for my 2nd piece, all the fatty part gone.  hahahaha

And taste it with the home made sauce.  Very unique taste.

Next dish is the Roasted Duck with Red Curry.  Again, they put in the Italian tomatoes.  Make it rich, together with the pineapple, it brings up the flavour.  The duck is ok.  So, you put this coconut red curry into the white jasmine rice.  It taste nice.

All the Thai food goes well with this Rose.

And we end up with the Thai Mango and sticky rice.  Very nice.

You can actually tell the food is nice, when you “clean up” the plates and dishes.  Hahahaha…

Kay treated this place like his home.  Even go to the kitchen to take his own ice cream.

So next time, we got choices.  Cote du Bouef or Thai Thai Food?  hahaha
