Novavax is the latest Covid19 vaccine.

Seems like it is getting a lot of attention.

Singapore is getting some stocks from Navavax arriving before end of year.

It is said that this vaccine is easier to be modified to make new defense againts Covid19 varriance.

Wait.. conflicting info… it is said it is easier to modify it to defence against the varriance… But it also said that the latest vaccine is slightly ineffective againts Alpha B117 (~86%) and Beta B1351 (~55%)… No mentioned about Delta.

From the trials in US and Mexico… based on 30k volunteers trial, the efficacy is 90.4% quite close to Pfizer-BioNTech 95% and Moderna 94.1%.

It is not nRNA based vaccine. Novavax is based on protein subunit and recombinant nanoparticle tech.

And the reaction and side effect is much milder compared to others. No need to be transported and stored under cold temperature.

Folks… taking vaccines is a must to achieve herd immunity. We have to live with this Covid19 virus, not avoiding it. Accidents may happen, and you cannot avoid it forever. So, taking vaccine is still a wise choice.
