We had a simple celebration yesterday with our old neighbour. Who happens to be my sister’s colleague at Prudential too. She and my wife were the Condo committee too. So, since every one has moved out from Park West (prepared to be demolished), so we have a simple gathering to celebrate too. hahaha
They love cats too.
Lovely figs grown in our garden.
Thai lime.
Of course, there will be lantern. What? Both LED??? Not candles?
Let’s changed another background. Building views.
The background is this.
I like the pose. Hahahaha and the smile.
Using my Zeiss Tout 32mm F1.8 to snap these without flash.
Look! My lantern. Is like the moon.
Since the sky is getting clearer… let’s set up the telescope.
With the haze blocking 30% of the visibility, this is what I can get.
We will try our best to try to capture the Harvest Moon tonight.
The moon is getting clearer and clearer, but the details, the craters are clouded by the haze.
For a rare limited window, we saw Saturn just beside the moon not far away from it from our picture.
Let’s zoom a bit. Hi Saturn.
What is a Harvest Moon??
Ah… No wonder the moon is ORANGE in colour. An my photoshop keep trying to correct the colour. It suppose to be Orange.
Btw, this is this week Star Chart
And finally, tonight main attraction, the Harvest Moon. Still a bit hazy.
And it is Orange in colour.
