Gadget Note – Ikea LADDA Batteries

Date:  Dec 26, 2016

There are a lot of amazing things you can buy from Ikea.

They are probably one of the earliest one who say no to plastic bags.  You know have to pay for your plastic bags.

I just found out that they also don’t give straws for your drinks too.

So, whatever they come up with must be environmental friendly.

So, I end up buying this… LADDA rechargeable battery charger.

It looks like a book.

You can charge 12 batteries at a time.  Any mix of AA or AAA batteries will do.

It comes with an indicator.  You know how annoying last time all the charger only show red light and green light.  This one will show your the battery level.

Quite cool, isn’t it?

The batteries comes in 900mAh, 1000mAh or 2450mAh.  And it is Ni-MH batteries.

Don’t throw away.  I think you can just bring it back to Ikea to Recycle.

See that Recycle symbol there?

Well, there is a cable management for you too.

It fits both AA and AAA this way.  And their battery last from 5 hours to 12 hours use.

It is quite safe to use.  I am sure the charger has a intelligent to stop charging when it is full.  You can feel some heat while charging.  But if you leave it over night charging, it is cooler the next day.  I think there is some intelligence in there.
