Happy Valentines day!!!

Wanted to post this comic strip what I read the other day.

“If you do not study, you will end up like him.” (the cleaner)

“If you study well, you will be able to make a better world for him.”

The way how the first mother teach, is definitely not appropriate.

But the 2nd mother, although, did not say it out loud, but 意思浅浅.  The mother obviously still want to draw a line, that’s the cleaner, and you don’t want to be him, but you have a chance to make better life for him.  Don’t know how, but if you study, you can make a better world for him.

One of the thing that the mother has neglected is how she knows that the cleaner uncle never study hard in school?  Why does she equate him with a person does not study hard?  So, in my very humble opinion, I like the Blue mother more, because, she is more direct, speaking without passing thru her brain, and simply say, thats a cleaner, and I don’t want you to be a cleaner, so please study hard.

LOL.  Deep….

Then, few days later I saw this.

So, since young Japanese kids will be taught to be tidy, keep the surrounding tidy.

So, I bet you when Japanese kids grow up and saw the cleaner, they probably will say “Thank you!”

That is what I always say when the old lady pick up my plate (while I am still sitting there) in Kopitiam in JCube, “Thank you”.

That is why, I always say thank you to the cleaner who cleans the streets whenever I passed by.

That is why I always press the big happy face, good service when I use the toilet in the Airport.

That is why I love to go to Japan.  To have an opportunity to study from this culture. 🙂
