We are back to Hawai Onsen Hotel Bokoro.
The Onsen
The first thing to do is change to our onsen outfit and take a nice photo.
Again. Stand closer.
Again… and do dap.
The Dinner
This is today’s Kaiseki dinner.
Lovely.
White fish and jello.
Starter drink. Umeshi.
Fresh ingredients.
Cheers.
Fresh big prawns and kani and sashimi.
Nice soup.
Cheers on the Sake.
What we drinking tonight. On Day 2.
Again. Big feast.
Prawn is so fresh and nice.
Specially order for Kay Kay. He does not eat funny looking food. So I have to use broken Japanese speak to the waitress auntie. She then bring out a high tech gadget and speak to me in perfect Chinese (i.e. Poketalk). So, from then, I decided to hunt for a PokeTalk for myself when I go Osaka later.
Definitely not Kay’s favourite. But it is ours. Nice fish head.
Tasty soba.
Nice oden.
Soup has boiled. Tasty.
Funny looking fish tempura. Oh.. It’s Fugu……………. Puffer fish.
So big puffer fish.
Kani soup.
Lastly, nice dessert.
The Photographing Session
At 9pm, we leave the kids in the hotel, and my wife drove me to the opposite of the lake. There is a nice garden there, very very dark. Tonight can see nice sky and stars bah.
Of course, we have to change to winter outfit.
Let’s take some photos of our hotel first.
The outdoor onsen.
The walking bridge.
It looks like this.
OK, let’s move out. 5 min drive to that park.
Everything is prepared.
Wait. Where are all the stars?
Why so many clouds???
Just now before dinner it is still clear sky????
OMG…
The moon suppose to come out from the mountain. But it is totally covered by the cloud.
Sort of looks like sun rise. But it is the moon.
Bo-pian. Then, with the clouds in the sky, let’s take long exposure on the trees bah…
Nice. This is the fist time I took such photo.
How about me spinning my torch light and in the picture?
Nice too.
Wait, I remember I see photographers do light painting.
Let’s try it again. Yuck! First try. So many and so confusing. But the tree and the sky still in tact.
Let’s try again with slow motion. and fewer rounds. OK, it works.
I am sort of learning to do the light painting on the fly.
Let’s try to do a wing.
Oh ya, my wife is the one pressing the remote trigger.
Let’s try again. Wing #2.
My wife complaint. It does not look like a wing.
So I visualise it. And re-do.
A chicken wing.
So, I can actually paint anything I like.
And my greatest art pieces is writing my own name.
Wahahaha, I light painted my name “KEN”.
Although there is no stars, I learned how to take light painting tonight. One more skill to add.
