Date: Dec 14, 2019
That day, I brought the family to Bayfront Pavilion. Invited by my friend Roland, who is one of the people to put together this exhibit. Took quite some photos. But was told cannot post any until today.
Oh… press release is out today. Wahahahha This exhibit will only start in January 15, 2020.
Of course, being inside Garden by the Bay area, the exhibit has to do with something with flowers.
They make use of projector and AI and sensors to project and hold all the flowers together to form a kind of animal.
It is flamingo.
When you touch the screen, the flowers will disperse out and new flowers blooming out to fill up the space.
So, you can imagine the kids go and touch here and there.
Since it is interactive, I think kids of all ages will love it.
And inside is full of mirror too, to reflects what ever is projected. So, be careful, don’t run inside and bang into the mirror.
There is also this calligraphy projections. Which young kids could not make any word out of it. (My boys Chinese too lousy… hahaha)
But the highlight of the night is this tea session.
The AI actually will project the flower blossom in your tea cup.
You will be brought to the tea room and have a sit. You can order teh tarik (cold) or Japanese green tea (hot). There are only 2 choices.
While waiting, Jay is playing with light and tea cup.
Quite good.
Nice right?
Here come the tea. If you move the tea cup, the flower will disappear.
Quite nice. The AI is good. Sensor is good too. Always follow the cup. But you have to be there to enjoy it. I feel taking video cannot feel the atmostphere. With the zen zen music and people with surprise face, it feel good.
One of the flower.
You can move the cup around.
Roland sitting there just non-stop videoing. Hahahaha, this is what you will see the visitors do. Now, I wonder how they going to set the time limit for the visit not to spend so much time here. hahaha by the way this tea ceremony need to pay ya.
Oh, no wonder they use teh tarik and green tea. They need the foam. To reflect the projection.
The feel is amazing.
Another nice video take of the blossom.
Of course you can drink these tea. But as you drink, you finished up the foam, then, the projection become partial.
Next, they have a bigger projection outside the building.
And the colorful eggs is done by them too. TeamLab.
If you get to touch one, just tap on the egg, and it will change colour if the tap is hard enough.
You can just sit down there and watch the colour changed.
Let’s take photo with the eggs.
See you can touch the eggs here.
Change Change Change…
And it changed.
Aiyo… Kay likes it.
When it started next January, go and feel the zen.
