Kids had a good night sleep on the plane.

(Jay will be upset to see this, because this is his favourite Snorlax hat and he left it in Curringa Farm later, and forgot to bring it back.  But not to worry, I have reordered a few for him, and its on the way to us from Amazon).

We rented our first car in Melbourne.  It is a Red KIA car.

My wife will be driving us around.  Because I am the navigator, with the Map, and the destination, and I also wanted to sight-seeing too.  Wahahahaha

From Airport to the hotel, we saw this Melbourne Zoo sign.

So, we arrived at Melbourne Zoo.

Our Emirate flight was delayed 2 hours.  So, we could not make it to the Kids All Animal Land.  Therefore, we brought the kids to Melbourne Zoo to have lunch.

So happy.  They bought a car park ticket.

All these stones are covered with knitting.

Kids at the Zoo.  Coming to Australia, I guess you want to see Kangaroo.

There are some animals to see here too.

Let’s focus in Koalas and Kangaroos.

Oh look… never seen this before.  Meerkats.

We had our lunch here.  It is an expensive lunch.  Paid > A$58 for drinks, muffins and sandwiches.

Luckily, Kay got things to eat.

Oh Cool!  A bird.

His feathers must be very spiky.

I still cannot figure out the theme – Zoo & mobile phones.

Never see one of these phones for a long time.

Nice bamboo place.

Australian snakes.  Jay looks pretty cool with the hat.

I want to take a picture with this Monkey.

Can see a lot of bamboo shoots.  I guess after spring, that is why the shoots are coming out.

Got to love the Australia sky.  Very blue.  (But later at night, it become very cloudy, it rain the next day).

My kids see a big patch of grass then simply lie down.

This sea gull should be very common bah…

Kangaroos… Wake up!  So lazy you all.

This conclude our first day of event.

Later that day, we meet up with Larry & family and Hock Koon & wife and have a nice seafood meal.

That concludes day #1.

Kids are happy to be at the zoo.

They see different kinds of animal.

They learned why and how mobile phones destroy the nature.

They saw kangaroos, but too bad, during afternoon, these kangaroos are lazy and sleepy.

They saw koala bears.  And some strange animals.

They love that big patch of picnic grass land.  So, they lie on it and nap for a while.
