It is always fun to get your kids to 1) understand which part of China their grandfather came from.  2) to dirty their hand in making the traditional red wine.

I am a Fuchow (福州), but I can’t speak Fuchow.  However, we still can make our own Fuchow red wine.

Today, we need to stir it after 1 week.  Not too bad.  haha

So, we need to teach our kids this traditional.  Both Jay and Kay has learned how to do this.

After 1-2 months we can use this to make Red Wine Chicken as well Red Wine Pork Belly.  Very nice.  haha

We even mark it down who make what on which date.  hahaha

It is Jay’s turn to make his red wine.  The piano music behind is played by Mr. Kay.  hahaha

This is the bottle made by Jay.

A month later we will know who make the best Fuchow red wine.
