Date:  Apr 9, 2016

Jay Jay dares to try new ways of cooking.

He borrowed another cook book from the Library and he saw this recipe.  And immediately, we have it!

Let’s check it out what so special about this breakfast.  He poke a whole in the middle, and then, he french toast the bread together with the egg in the middle.  Cool!

The slightly over-cooked version.

The good thing for Jay Jay is he has 5 chances to get it right.  Because there are 5 of us (including our Aunty).  So, my wife always said to my domestic helper, how lucky she had Jay cooking breakfast every Saturday and Sunday.  Hahahahaha

Letting a kid to pursuit their ambitions is very important.

  1. If they willing to talk to you and ask you for something, that is something they would like to do, and you should encourage it.
  2. For example, Jay says, teach me how to cook egg.  Then, you basically have to think how and what is the best way to teach him how to deal with fire.  Then, later deal with knife.
  3. And then, you have to find him the correct recipe book, i.e. cook book for kids for him to read.  I also don’t know how many cook books he has borrowed from the Library so far.  I also bought him a few.
  4. Then, you let him get his hand dirtier. The more practice, the more better they will get.
  5. Like Kay Kay, he does not like cooking yet.  So, let him be himself.
