Just outside Kawayu Onsen area.  There is this horse ranch.

Since the boys love the horse so much, so, we decided to make a quick stop here even though it is drizzling.

There, we discover this horse breed.

How tall is this horse?

It is not tall at all.  It is like a “pet” horse.

Is it a dog?  a cat or a horse?

Let’s do a quick horse ride.

Are you ready to ride a horse?

Jay found another small horse.

Jay you are heavy, you cannot ride a small horse.

Ride this big one instead.

It is easy to ride a huge and big horse.

They have a lot of horses here.  But only one keeper.  Which is that lady in the yellow jacket.

Here comes the boys.  As the horse is so big, and stable.  So, they do not need the instructor to hold the leash.

I think the kids has enjoyed the horse ride so much.

It is a bit unlucky that half of our stay in Hokkaido is under the wet weather.

We have pass thru a few horse ranch but could not ride a horse because of the wet weather.

For example, the Shikaoi riding park sounds like a good horse riding place, but it is closed because of the rain.

Kay Kay end up riding a big wooden horse.

They really like the horse.

Then, we were at this cafe, where they have few horses for people to ride, but it was unfortunately, their off day.  The instructions off day.

It is our third attempt we finally found a place to ride horse.

So, they pad pad the horse head for good luck.

And there they go.  This is the first time we ride a horse.
