Date:  March 9, 2019

These Raspberry Pi blog entries is written to help me to remember.

Raspberry Pi has created this Imager to help users to install Raspbian onto their SD card without downloading additional software such as ApplePieBaker, etc.

Choose the OS, plug in the SD Card, and burn it, that’s it.

It takes some time to download depending on your Internet speed.  1.1G or file.

Once done, plug the SD card into the Raspberry Pi and boot it.  It even helps you to resize the OS.

Resizing means, if you have 256Gb of SD card, but the image of the OS is meant for 4GB SD card, then, the OS will detect it and resize the OS with the additional space so that you can utilise those spaces.

I made a mistake previously, by taking the easy way out.  I burned a 32GB image onto my SD card, boot it, and forgot to resize it.  So, this morning, when I write some Python scripts, my Nano complaint no disk space.  Sian… hahaha
