The Hunt for Kabuto
Kabuto is our last Pokemon to catch so we can evolve Kabutops. We need another 28 Kabuto candies.
As we reaching the end of our Pokemon journey, the kids has started to “lost interest” in it. Because, we have almost “catch’em all”. And yesterday, surprisingly, Jay says, he wants to read book instead of catching the “common” Pokemon. And this is precisely the end result we want to get. Even when kids talk about it, my kids already “seen it all”. So, they is no urge to play Pokemon.
And this morning, father and son go run properly. Without catching Pokemon in the run. But we do stop and fight the Pokemon Gym when we see one.
So, now we just take our own sweet time to hunt for Kubato. If have then have, if don’t have then, it is OK.
Even yesterday, I hang out with my good friends for a supper and drink. And I don’t believe I have turned on my Pokemon for the whole session. So, I am sure things has gone back to normal.
My Pokemon Journey So Far
During weekends, I spent a lot more time with Kids and let them use my phone to catch Pokemon. Remember, only run one Pokemon in a family. And try not to install it on to your kids’ phone. Install only the Go Radar map on your kids’ phone and the Pokedex for him to learn about Pokemon.
“Siri, set timer for 5 minutes”. Train your kids to play fairly and each one has their fair share of time to play the Pokemon.
A lot of people share their idea that they think Pokemon is bad for their kids so they don’t even install and let their kids play. My view is… the kids have a lot of friends in school. So, do you want the kids got kick out from their social circle because they do not have the chance to learn or play Pokemon? So, I think it might be a bad idea to completely stop them from playing. Instead, let them play on your phone, and teach them about taking turns to play, teach them about corporations, teach them about manners, etc.
So, one look for Pokemon, one catch the Pokemon.
They will be closer bond together as they have a common target.
I have spend so many nights with my buddies catching Pokemon.
We went to deliver moon cake in vivo city and have lunch there, then, we catch a bit of Pokemon.
At night, after my kids has slept, I will drive out to pick them up and go Changi Village.
I am now level 29.
My strongest Pokemon is my Dragonite with CP 2880.
I have caught 140 different types of Pokemon.
There are a total 149 Pokemon in the Pokedex.
So, they have not released or nobody has seen the three legendary Pokemon.
And the regional Pokemon, seems have not appeared in Singapore yet. i.e. Farfetch.
So, these four regional Pokemon is hard to catch too.
And lastly, Ditto has somehow not release yet.
So, what is Game Over for me? After catching or evolving the Kubato into Kubatops.
A lot of medals.
Feel quite happy about it.
Yeah!!!!!!!! Yippee!!!!
